Description
A pilgrim plays his flute on the shore of a forest. Having reached the other shore, he has set his boat adrift. The yana is no longer needed. A torii sits above, waiting for the next stage of his journey. And far off on the other side of the cascading waterfall, a road leads to a temple. Birds flying up from it, just as the boat is drifting off. The sunrise is infused with dynamic purples, blues, and yellows creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. This piece is a further exploration of the line, "The Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore" from Thich Nhat Hanh's translation of the Heart Sutra.
